COVID-19 DRIVER & PASSENGER SAFETY POLICY

Private Hire
is fully committed to helping our passengers travel to their destinations as safely as possible until Covid-19 is fully controlled.
We ask all our passengers not to travel
if they have any symptoms of Covid-19
and to also keep their faces
covered whenever possible (with a mask, scarf or other face covering).
Keeping our drivers & passengers safe
Our vehicle will be provided for your service in a highly cleansed (inside & out) and sanitised condition.
Our drivers will be taking precautions to protect themselves and our passengers from infection by wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, including masks when required.
Our drivers will adhere to the following rigorous hygiene and distancing practices:
2 Metres
Where possible, Drivers will keep 2 metres away on collection of their passengers from the airport or alternative pickup points. Drivers and passengers are not to shake hands.
Hand Sanitiser
Our Driver will sanitise their own hands and then provide Hand Sanitiser to all passengers to sanitise their hands before entering the vehicle.
PPE
Our Driver will provide PPE in the form of Single-use Disposable Face Masks, alternatively passengers can use their own face covering. Paper Tissues will also be available.
Seating & Luggage
Where possible, all passengers are to sit in the back of the vehicle. Drivers will open the boot of their vehicle for luggage, but where possible, we request passengers place their own luggage in the vehicle.
Luggage Assistance
If the Driver is required to help lift luggage, they must sanitise their hands immediately
before and after touching the luggage, alternatively Disposable Gloves can be worn.
Cleaning - Customer Area
Drivers will, between each job, clean all customer contact surfaces, such as door handles (inside and out), window switches, grab handles with anti-bacterial sanitising wipes. Leather upholstery will be wiped down with appropriate cleaning material.
Cleaning - Driver Area
Drivers will also, between each job, clean surfaces they have been in contact with such as steering wheels, handbrake, gear stick etc.
Disposing of PPE
At the end of your journey our Driver will collect any disposable PPE, used tissues etc. in the bin liners provided and dispose of appropriately outside the vehicle.
Vehicle
Our Driver will ensure the vehicle has a full deep clean inside and out at the Start/End of each shift.
